Today we will be making the iconic Korean dish which is the classic, spicy and traditional Napa cabbage kimchi in the most simple way.
Kimchi means vegetable dishes that have been salted, seasoned, and fermented. It originated from pickled vegetables and there are now hundreds of kimchi varieties in Korea. It is also globally recognized as a healthy probiotic food.
The best part about this recipe is that it is very easy to make and it is Pure vegetarian also.
Napa Cabbage 3 kg
Salt 5 tablespoons
Rice flour 2 tbsp
Sugar 2 tablespoons
Radish 1 cup
Spring onion greens 1/4 cup
Carrot 1/4 cup
Onion 1 large
Garlic 10-12 cloves
Ginger 1 inch
spring onion bulbs 10-12
Carrot 1 small piece
Red Chilli Powder 1/4 cup – 1/2 cup
Ferment at room temperature for 1-2 days and then you can store it In refrigerator for upto 6 months
